I don't know if this makes a difference, but add a real load physics to the map. Some of these loads in real life make a truck and it's driver really move. Example: Truck using a low boy pulling a CAT 966 front end loader plays a toll on the truck's transmission when pulling it. Don't know if this type of mod can be done, but if so, it would bring a HUGE realistic touch to the game and our heavy haulin company. *my two cents*

It can be done and has been done by cerritos with the VTC-TEA and the heavy haul mod but it is specific to particular load's. Not all the heavy haul load's in the pack / map have the pysic's but it is possible to do. The only thing one would half to do is open up the sii file's and copy the information inside and convert it to whatever load you are creating / modding. My only suggestion at this time would be to make sure that every city has some sort of heavy load and a company that you can haul it to. Like the vtc-tea map it has lot's of load's you can haul but the problem is they only go to certain city's on the map. Every city on the map need's to have atleast 1 or 2 load's you can haul in and out. You should also allow for plenty of room to get in and out of the location. Just a thought also maybe you can add a company billboard sign and the logo to the trailer's. The USA 3 map has a headqurter's billboard so maybe you can figure out a way to implement something like that.

I like that idea. And oh yeah, so I haven't did my logbooks or dispatch lately, I've been busy changing things around. But I will be on later to do my logs and request next load. Also, the Beer map has the same thing as the USA3 map, except that there are a number of cities that a player can drop their loads at, along with going to other breweries to pick up more loads. Bra2 actually has his HQ added into his map in Afton, OK, so I know this can work for us. Thing is, who will be in charge of modding a new or current map for the company?

Hey Trent post us up some screen shot's as you go brother. I've played with the map modder a little bit but never could get road and terrain to line up level. Might give it another shot here soon but I wanna find a few tut's on it first.

You know guy's I know that most of you like the Beer Map but the problem is that prism has to run 1.3 gig's of crap from the mod folder which just overwhelm's the game engine. Some of you can use it just fine and some can't. We need to use a map like the ACM v 4.5 that can be modified to our liking and that doesn't lock up every 5 minutes in the middle of a run. There are a few error's when the map load's but I'm sure they can be fixed if the person modding the map know's what they are doing and know what the error's are and how to fix them. There are also a few other problem's with certain places in the map like railroad track's being to high to cross with lowboy's but those can also be fixed. Trent let us know what you think and how thing's are coming along buddy.

Sounds awesome and a good note there. The Beer Map is a bit overated with all the Prism issues. I actually was thinking myself of wanting to do a mod a map, but of Florida. Asphalt was beginning one, but he dropped the ideal due to real life living. But I would love to. We don't have EXTREME loads down here, but we do have a ton of construction and steel work loads. Also, we can't forget about all the boat/yachts that are all along the coast lines. So guys, don't be surprised down the road I finally figure out just how to mod a map and create.... "Hitman's Masterpiece!"...... ;D.

Just my opinion, but if you could make it a country-wide map, but keep the textures of the rnr map... Like the I80 truckstop, and realistic weigh stations, and little fuel stops. Maybe put some little backroads to some of the load sites... Like little in town side streets, with stop signs, and stuff like that. Houses we can live at and shops and such.... Jus my opinion. :)

All good idea's. We need to actually get a base plan for a map and go from there. I can open the map editor and delete stuff and such but for some reason it won't save what I have editied and give's me a bunch of bullshit error's so I'm gonna speak with {ammer and get some tip's from him since he's the best map builder I know.
